I was born in London and worked as a Healthcare Scientist, and latterly as a Healthcare Manager in the NHS.

 

I am a graduate of The Open University BA(hons) Humanities - Art History & French.

I have a post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies.

 

I am now retired from full time work, but work as a freelance Sales Representative for HE Translations, and as an Exam Invigilator in a local secondary school.

I volunteer for The Canal & River Trust as a Lock Keeper / Towpath Ranger.

 

I am a competent Microsoft Word and Excel user.

I hold a full UK Car & Motorcycle driving licence.

 

I am happily married and have grandchildren living close by.

I am an enthusiastic, but fair weather, cyclist.

We cultivate fruit and vegetables on our allotments.

 

I have an interest in analogue photography using simple cameras from the 1950s-80s.

 

We enjoy travel, particularly within Europe, by train.

 

I speak French, and have an elementary grasp of German and Esperanto.
